Ballet is the classical dance form that can be mastered by itself or used as a technical base or supplement to other dance forms. This class introduces the fundamental principles of Ballet, including basic positions of the feet and arms, proper alignment, ballet vocabulary, barre exercises and centre work - focussing on overall body alignment and awareness. This class will break down the steps and provide students with exercises that build strength, increase flexibility and provide a foundation that can be applied to all dance styles.
